Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This site is run by Gazanfar Yusifli, an independent software engineer and founding engineer. It has two purposes: to show my work, and to let you get in touch about a digital product or platform you want built. This page explains exactly what data that involves. I have deliberately kept it specific rather than generic.
Who is responsible
Gazanfar Yusifli, software engineer, based in Azerbaijan. For anything to do with your data, email iamgazanfar@gmail.com. I handle these myself, so replies come from me directly.
What I collect
Information you send me. If you contact me via email or through external links, I receive the name you provide, the email address or phone number you give me, your description of your project, and any details you share regarding your scope and timeline.
Usage and technical data. Like most sites, pages here load with basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the page you are on.
I do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data: no payment card numbers, no government IDs, no health data. Please do not send any of that.
Why I use it
To reply to you and discuss the project you described. To understand how visitors explore my portfolio, and to keep the site working, fast, and secure.
I do not sell your data, and I do not add you to marketing sequences or mailing lists. If you reach out to me, you get a personal reply from me about your enquiry — not automated spam.
The services this site relies on
I run this as one person, so a few trusted providers handle infrastructure. Each one only receives what is technically required:
- Cloudflare — hosts, caches, and serves the site with DDoS protection, edge security, and standard server logs.
- Google Workspace / Gmail — powers my email communication. Your messages are delivered directly and securely to my inbox.
- WhatsApp / Telegram — only if you choose to initiate a chat with me there. Those conversations are governed by their respective privacy terms.
Tracking, and how to switch it off
This website prioritizes minimalism and privacy. You can control or block any web tracking at any time without asking me:
- Use your browser's built-in tracking protection or an ad-blocker.
- Decline or clear cookies in your browser settings.
Blocking technical metrics does not stop you from browsing the portfolio or contacting me.
How long I keep it
Project enquiries stay in my email while we are collaborating and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return with new features or follow-up work. If you would like your messages deleted sooner, email me and I will promptly remove them.
Your rights
You can ask me what information I hold about you, request corrections, or request complete deletion. If you are in the EU (GDPR), UK, or jurisdictions with similar consumer privacy regulations, you have full statutory rights over your personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, email iamgazanfar@gmail.com. I will action it directly and confirm once completed.
Children
This website is aimed at business founders, teams, and individuals commissioning professional software engineering. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
International transfers
I am based in Azerbaijan and the infrastructure providers above operate worldwide, so technical data may be processed securely across servers located in the European Union and the United States.
Changes
If I update how this site functions or handles data, I will update this page and the date at the top. The version you are reading is always the one in effect.
